Established by the Association for the Promotion of Higher Education in Malaysia (APHEM), Highlands International Boarding School (HIBS) is the only school in Malaysia that is located in the highlands but has favorable climate. It boasts a certified Cambridge center and offers Cambridge IGCSE and CIE courses. HIBS has been awarded as a five-star school by the Ministry of Education Malaysia and is one of the a few schools in Kuala Lumpur to offer ICC courses.
